In my neighborhood, there is a workshop where many young boys are employed. One of the boys, Jahanzaib is 8 years old and also a friend of mine. Whenever I accompany my father to the workshop, I take little gifts and eatables for him. His father has passed away and mother is the sole caretaker of three children. As a result, Zaib had no option but to work in a place where owner treats him badly and beats him on petty mistakes.

Zaib cannot afford to buy stationary and pay school fees. Still, he is hopeful that at some stage in his life, he and his little sisters will be able to start education. Through his writing, I wish to deliver my feelings of 'care and affection' to all such needy children of my age.
